She worked as a nurse at the Bataan Provincial Hospital before she got married to Crispin Lintag, a US navy, native of Orion, Bataan but residing in Virginia Beach, Virginia. She came over to the states to join her husband in December 1991. After successfully passing the state board exam, she worked at Lake Taylor Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia as a charge nurse for more than 11 years. Desiring to move on with her career, she took her Master of Science in Nursing at the Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia and graduated on December 18, 2005. A mother herself to her two beautiful and smart daughters, Jennifer, who is 13 years old and Kimberly, 12. Both are in the principal’s list. At present, Raquel is working full time with doctors who are in general practice. She is also a member of their church choir. Her husband, Crispin plays the electric guitar, daughter Jennifer sings and Kimberly plays violin and piano for their choir sometimes.
