For years, Salido struggled to uplift the standards of farmers through his Sagana 100, which substantially increased harvest, and at the same time protecting the environment. In fact, the more his product is used, the more the soil is rejuvenated. Atty. Salido’s contribution to agriculture is already a legacy that the man could leave behind which the country and its generations will forever be grateful. Salido from his humble start in Ibajay to being an entrepreneur epitomizes the real working spirit of the Filipino that enabled the race to survive years of colonial bondage. National Capital Region (NCR) Best KKK Livelihood National Science and Technology Authority (NSTA) DOST-1/ACT Gold Medal Awardee for his Improved DOST-TAPI First Prize Winner, DOST-NCR Invention Most Outstanding Inventor Award given by Department of Science and Technology in recognition for his Improved Organic Fertilizer Composition covered by Philippines Letter Patent No. 6105. Rizal Medallion Award given by the Knights of Rizal for his Improved Organic Fertilizer Composition. Gold Medal Award from World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) for his Improved Organic Fertilizer Composition.
