Finished her primary and intermediate education at Ibajay Elem. School; secondary education at Ibajay Academy; ETCHE at National Teacher’s College in 1950. After graduation she was employed as a substitute teacher in different elementary schools – Maloco, Capilijan, Batan, Aquino, Ondoy and Ibajay. On July 30, 1962, she was appointed as a classroom and Home Economics teacher at Caticlan Elem. School for 5 yrs. Then again was transferred to her hometown, Ibajay where she taught at Naile Elem. School. In 1968, she was assigned as Home Economics teacher at Laguinbanwa her own barrio where she stayed until her retirement on September 30, 1981at the age of 60. Was married to the late Alfredo Antoine Solidum and have 7 children: Jose – Commercial Radio Telegraph Operator; Evy – BS in Custom Administration School; Nado – Commercial Radio Telegraph Operator; Fredina – RN, BSN; Blaredo – Electronic Serviceman on Radio; Donna – Cosmetology; Alando – General Radio Communication Operator. |
