Our Needy Kasimanwas

Poverty is a hindrance to the realization of one's basic right for a better life. Food, clothing and shelter are not enough to sustain an individual throughout his life expectancy but also an affordable education, availability of jobs, financial security, accessibility to a quality health and social services, etc.

The scenery is common but it is unthinkable to see a child left on the floor scratching a plate barely filled with rice while nasal secretions are slowly dripping down his nostril. It breaks ones heart to witness an innocent child brought up in a deplorable environment while we on the other hand are living in abundance. The national and local government worked together to help those who are in need but it is not enough and the situation today is even getting worst. I approached one family and spoke directly to the parents. I explained the purpose of my visit. They both agreed to be published in the website. They were all aware that gifts or donations might not come at all. If there is anyone of you who is willing to extend a helping hand, please be advised to write directly to the family you chose.

Gifts must be sent directly to the recipients. www.ibajay.com will not accept any gifts or donations intended for the families in need. We will publish the names and pictures of individuals (if permitted) who kindly extended their help to their kasimanwas. You and I can't solve the problem but we can make a difference if we make them feel that we are concerned of their plight.
