At an early age she was taken cared of at Baptist Home School, now the Filamer Christian College, Roxas City where she completed her primary education and also learned voice and piano lessons under Ms. Pettit, an American Baptist Missionary; secondary education at Capiz High School.
She received her degree from Aklan College. As teacher, she was a girl scout leader and trainer for girls for softball in the West Visayan Athletic Meet. Eddie, as she was called by her friends, was the Music District Coordinator of Ibajay West District, Division of Aklan.
Retired in 1982.
