Being the youngest and the smallest of the six children of Gregorio Solidum and Asuncion Sallador, she is nicknamed, “Nene.”
After graduating from High School in 1948, she took teaching courses at National Teachers College, Manila. Completed BSE at Far Eastern University, 1972; Master’s Degree majoring in Administration and Supervision at Aklan College, 1983.
Taught Pilipino as a subject at Ibajay Central School and also became the School Librarian. Promoted to Master Teacher II and Teacher In-charge for classes V and VI before her retirement in 1986. Once a District Health Coordinator in the Division of Aklan.
