Finished primary education at Ibajay Elem. School, 1934; secondary education at Ibajay Academy and was the class salutatorian, 1938. Took teaching course at Philippine Normal School and graduated in 1940.
Appointed Grade I teacher at Maloco, Ibajay in 1940. It was interrupted till after the World War II when she resumed teaching in 1945.
After so many productive years of teaching she retired in 1981.
Elected as the Treasurer of the Ibajay Teacher’s League, now the Ibajay PSTA, since 1951, a long-standing record of 52 years. As a result she was awarded a trophy for her good performance as the treasurer of the association and was acclaimed as the most functional district treasurer by the Aklan PSTA.
Received the rank of Master teacher I, 1980.
Was an active Girl Scout leader handling the Brownies of Ibajay Central School; 1949 – 78. Awarded a Certificate of Recognition for Exemplary Performance and Dedication to Service, November 1999; a Certificate of Appreciation for Commendable and Unparalleled Service to IPSTA, February, 2003.
Member of a religious organization: Ladies of Charity, Daughters of Mary Immaculate, Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Miraculous Medal.
